Large HDG Boilers

HDG wood pellet boilers also come in larger sizes suitable for larger buildings or industrial process heat. These could be used in large houses, farms, motels, hotels, commercial buildings or any process where heat is used at less than 80C.

HDG also supply buffer tanks of up to 5000 litres to go with these pellet boilers. These can increase system performance with short term heat outputs well in excess of boiler heat output. The range of larger boilers is: Compact 100, and Compact 150/200. Multi Mega Watt Boilers can also be sourced for large scale projects.

These boilers have ceramic lined combustion chambers for improved combustion and a step grate to move the ash to the primary ash container. Both the primary and secondary combustion zones have de-ashing augers to automatically remove the ash to the external ash boxes.

High Efficiency

All have combustion control using an oxygen sensor and have independent control of primary and secondary combustion.

This enables the wood pellet boilers to achieve an efficiency of 90%.

Automation

De-ashing is automatic with large ash receptors fitted to reduce frequency of ash removal. These containers can hold ash for 8 tonnes of pellets burned yet allow ash to be emptied in minutes.

Remote monitoring & control

These boilers can be monitored and controlled remotely by a variety of communication devices.

User maintenance

The most important user input is to make sure the boiler has fuel. To keep the boiler operating in an efficient way, the operator should empty the ash and clean the heat exchanger at regular intervals.

Low emissions

All HDG boilers have very low particulate emissions due to their well controlled combustion. HDG also sell flue gas filtering equipment to go with the larger C150/200 boilers if the emissions need to be cut further.
